His research interests include the History of the Jews in Eastern Europe, Jewish Polemics, Jewish Mysticism, The Haskalah Movement, Hasidism, and Contemporary Kabbalah

Jonatan Meir was born in Leuven (Belgium), in 1975, and lives in Jerusalem
