MOSHE DAYAN


A Short Curriculum Vitae :

   Immigrated from Lybia to Israel in Dec. 1949. Lived in the Maעabara Pardesia (a poor immigration camp) until 1958. After 3 years in high school and one year in the Air-Force technical school, Served in the Israeli Defense Forces, first a regular service, and then in the reserve forces. Participated in the Six Days War and in the Yom-Kippur War. A couple of years after leaving the regular service, started to study physics. After PhD graduation, worked in physics research in the University of Minnesota, Case Western Reserve University, NASA Lewis Research Center, T.A. University, Technion-Israel, and Ben Gurion University (currently).
Married with 3 children.

Degrees :

  Ph.D. (Condensed Matter Physics), from Tel-Aviv University, Nov.(1976). B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics from T.A. University.
