Facilities

The Laboratory resources include the facilities (laboratory space) in the department of structural engineering which is housed in Kiryat Tuviyahu-Bait Hayas campus at BGU.

The hardware laboratory computational facilities include EMT64 Intel processor-based clusters, high-performance computers and workstations environment. The Software laboratory computational facilities include access to the ABAQUS/SIMULA, MATLAB, FORTRAN, C++, AUTOCAD computer programs (mostly used) and has the option to access additional software such us (PATRAN, NASTRAN, ANSYS, LSDYNA and MATEMATICA).

The Laboratory includes verities of compression-tension machines at deferent load scale 1Kg-200ton and set up for beam bending experiments. In addition it includes all the accessories needed to create concrete specimens and RC/FRC beam up to 3m length.
