Syllabus:

Cellular level: homeostatic mechanisms, transport mechanism across biological membranes, the resting potential and action potential in neuronal cells. System level: The nervous system (including synaptic transmission, structure of the nervous system and the senses), the endocrinological system, the muscles, the cardio-vascular system, the respiratory system, the kidneys, the digestive system, metabolism and energy balance.
