Introduction to the Intel® Fortran Compiler

The Intel® Fortran Compiler can generate code for IA-32, Intel® 64, or IA-64 applications on any Intel®-based Linux* system. IA-32 applications (32-bit) can run on all Intel®-based Linux systems. Intel® 64 applications and IA-64 applications can only run on Intel® 64-based or IA-64-based Linux systems.

For more information about the compiler features and other components, see your Release Notes.

This documentation assumes that you are familiar with the Fortran programming language and with your processor's architecture. You should also be familiar with the host computer's operating system.
