Anne was born in 1969 in France. She immigrated to Israel in 1976 and
grew up in Raanana, a city near Tel-Aviv. Anne studied in the Chemical
Engineering Department at the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion)
in Haifa and received her B.Sc. in 1994. She then moved to Bordeaux
(France) where she obtained a DEA, which is a one year pre-doctoral
diploma. Anne moved back to the Technion in 1995 to carry out her Ph.D
work in the field of soft matter (network formation in self-assembled
micellar/microemulsion systems). She received her Ph.D in 2000. From
2000 till 2002 she stayed in Paris for postdoctoral studies in
biophysics (biophysics of the cytoskeleton) with J. Prost and C. Sykes
at the Institut Curie, Paris. She joined the Department of Chemical
Engineering at Ben-Gurion University as a senior lecturer in 2002.
